Responsibilities:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions - Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other necessary tools - Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests - Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to all safety protocols - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience:
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred - Knowledge of groundskeeping and landscape maintenance practices - Familiarity with tree trimming and tree care techniques - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment - Ability to operate power tools and hand tools for snow removal tasks - Experience with digging, mowing, and other related tasks is a plus Please note that this position requires the ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time.
Snow plow operators must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
A valid driver's license is also required.
